- We protect you from unauthorized purchases, fraud and theft if your U.S. Money Card is ever lost or stolen.
- Funds are FDIC insured.
For additional protection against the unauthorized use of your card, you can choose to personalize your card 2 ways:
- Replace your initial “Preferred Customer” card with a name–only personalized card ($4.95 fee). Login to order your custom personalized U.S. Money Card.
- Replace your initial “Preferred Customer” card with a name and picture ID personalized card ($14.95 fee). Login to your U.S. Money online account to order your card.

Personalized U.S. Money Checks
When a check is the only option to pay a bill or pay someone, you can write a personalized check using the funds in your U.S. Money Card account! U.S. Money card offers pre–printed checks to it's customers which can be used at their discretion to make payments when check writing is more convenient. FREE SMS Text balance and transaction alerts
Stay up to date with your balance with message alerts, online or by phone.
- Receive daily SMS text message with your account balance, automatically! Every morning (or at a pre–set time) a text message will be sent to your cell phone with the latest balance on your card account.
- After each transaction, you will receive a SMS text message alert with the amount of the transaction and your new balance.
- Balance and transaction history can also be reviewed online when you login into your U.S. Money Card online account or by calling our Customer Care Center at 1–866–872–9820.
Optional Overdraft Protection
You can only spend what you deposit, so there are no costly overdraft or interest fees. However, you can opt in the unique and optional overdraft protection for a fee that is a fraction of what banks typically charge (only $14.95).
